GeoVerra’s commitment to success extends far beyond the walls of our facilities and home offices. We are serious about corporate social responsibility and committed to ensuring that our presence is beneficial to the communities in which we operate. Last month we launched an internal campaign, announcing our ongoing employee and community donation/sponsorship program, GV Gives Back.
Chief Executive Officer, John Nielsen, comments, “Our community giving program is not intended to be a one-off campaign, rather a sustainable program that we will continue to build on as we grow as a company.” Nielsen adds, “It also demonstrates our commitment to the internal partnership promise and how we show up for our GV family.”

Each year, we allocate a budget to help all our team members give back through donations to organizations they volunteer with. Our hope is that this program will encourage GV employees to be active in their communities in a positive way.

The Missing Maps Project
Each year, disasters around the world kill nearly 100,000 and affect or displace 200 million people. Many of the places where these disasters occur are literally ‘missing’ from any map and first responders lack the information to make valuable decisions regarding relief efforts. Missing Maps is an open, collaborative project in which you can help to map areas where humanitarian organizations are trying to meet the needs of vulnerable people.
Canadian Blood Services – Partners for Life
