Our forestry and environmental team has been providing timber, environmental, and land management services to the energy and forestry industries since 1995. We provide full project management solutions and develop plans that incorporate regulatory requirements, stakeholder needs, and key operational criteria to execute projects on time, on budget, and with success.
Land, Environmental & Timber Solutions
Our team consists of forestry professionals and professional agrologists and biologists with decades of project management experience. As a collective with niche expertise, we’re equipped to deliver a full-service bundle of land, environmental, and timber solutions throughout the project lifecycle. We have the expertise to develop plans that incorporate client needs, regulatory requirements, best management practices, and key operational criteria to ensure project success.
Out in the field, we coordinate with survey crews to share information while ensuring the right professionals are on the right job. Internally, both teams share data with one another so that deliverables and final plans are vetted by an environmental practitioner. This not only saves clients the back and forth of multiple providers, but also enables them to move projects forward with efficiency and peace of mind.
From timber cruising and clearing planning, to on-site clearing coordination, we offer a comprehensive process of timber salvage management and operational clearing planning for major right-of-way projects. We help clients determine how much timber needs to be cleared and how, and coordinate timber removal before the grade plan is implemented.
For our industry partners with road use licenses, we help manage their asset. We develop budgets for operations, make plans for cost recovery, and manage and administer third-party users. Our in-house system, GV View RMS (Road Management Services), was developed to help clients recover their costs and manage their worksite. RMS is a user-friendly system made for any industry road licensee and their road users. It is a one-stop-shop for licensees looking to track assets, manage road budgets, and recover costs in a fair and efficient manner from third party users.

Timber Technology
The Timber Management System (TMS) is GeoVerra’s revamped custom web-based software to receive, track, and manage disposition applications on behalf of forest tenure holders. The application allows third-party industry users or agents to submit applications for forest tenure consent or FMA land withdrawal, check their application status, and update data online.
