Edmonton, AB (Jan. 15, 2026). At GeoVerra, giving back is part of who we are. Every year, GV Gives Back brings our team together to support the people, programs, and causes that matter most to our team members, clients, and communities.
In 2025, we are proud to share that we have donated over $25,000 and counting, with more totals still being added as our local office holiday party charity numbers come in.
How We Gave Back This Year
Through GV Gives Back, our donations came from two key areas.
Client holiday gifts
We’re proud to give the gift of giving back to our valued client partners – something we’ve been doing the past five years! This year, we directed a total of $11,400 toward charitable giving with our clients selecting a Canadian organization close to their hearts.
Team member donations
Our team also contributed an additional $14,400 in team member directed donations. Together, these efforts reflect our continued commitment to building stronger communities across the regions where we live and work.
Supporting More Than 50 Organizations
One of the things we are most proud of is the variety of organizations supported this year. With donations going to over 50 organizations, GV Gives Back helped fund initiatives that make a real impact across many areas, including:
Community support and outreach
Organizations focused on helping families, supporting veterans, providing meals and holiday hampers, and delivering essential care packages to individuals facing hardship.
Health and wellness
Groups dedicated to mental health awareness, medical support services, and community fundraising for critical health programs and research.
Youth development and education
Programs that encourage literacy, leadership, early childhood development, and hands on learning opportunities for kids and youth.
Animal welfare
Rescue and rehabilitation organizations working to provide safe homes, medical care, and second chances for animals in need.
Sports, recreation, and the arts
Local teams, clubs, and community groups that help youth stay active, develop skills, build confidence, and connect through sport, fitness, and music.
Environmental and heritage initiatives
Organizations supporting conservation efforts, outdoor education, and the preservation of local history and community programs.
