Edmonton, AB (Nov. 24, 2025) – West Moberly Corporate Alliance (WMCA) is pleased to welcome GeoVerra as a new partner supporting project activity throughout West Moberly First Nations’ Traditional Territory.
GeoVerra’s relationship with West Moberly began during the Coastal Gas Link (CGL) project, and provides land surveying, geospatial, forestry, and environmental services. As CGL work concluded, both teams recognized the value of strengthening the partnership to ensure direct, tangible benefits for West Moberly First Nations (WMFN) through future project work.
As one of Canada’s largest land surveying and geomatics firms, GeoVerra is “Built for Big Things.” By joining WMCA, they are positioned to bring their scale, technical expertise, and regional experience together with the strengths of the Alliance, creating more opportunity, capacity, and community benefit within WMFN Traditional Territory. Safety is a core value at GeoVerra and a standard they carry into both their work and their home lives. Their broader values, trust, teamwork, client focus, and excellence, closely align with West Moberly First Nation’s mission rooted in respect, honesty, fairness, integrity, and self-motivation.
As a proud CCIB member pursuing PAIR accreditation, GeoVerra continues to strengthen its Indigenous relations practices. Their team values WMCA’s business-forward, responsive approach, which supports strong project outcomes and collaborative success.
Although the formal partnership is new, GeoVerra has supported WMFN for several years across a range of project activities. With many new initiatives underway, support letters are often required for submissions. WMCA’s responsiveness, frequently turning around multiple requests within the same week, has been key in enabling GeoVerra to meet timelines and advance project work. GeoVerra looks forward to expanding its presence in the region, supporting WMFN priorities, and contributing to meaningful long-term benefit for the community.
