With a wealth of experience in geomatics and an impressive background across key industries, Wessam is well-prepared to drive GeoVerra’s growth, lead their team of industry experts and excellence in the province.
Expertise Built on Experience
Wessam began his career as a Junior Field Assistant during an internship with JD Barnes in Ontario. This foundational role sparked a passion for geomatics and set the stage for a diverse and accomplishing career. Over the years, he has contributed to significant projects in industries including construction, mining, tunneling, cadastral/legal surveying, oil and gas, and power infrastructure. One of Wessam’s most memorable projects was the St. Lawrence Market North building, where he played a role in the excavation phase and helped uncover a historic 1831 stone drainage tunnel.
